So, suddenly I have a crush on Craig Ferguson. Yes, the dude from the Late Late Show on CBS.

Yeah, I don't get it either. I blame Keith Olberman, it's all his fault for having Craig on his show recently.

I can't help it! Craig is just so damn pretty! And funny! And he has an adorable smile that makes him look about 10-years-old, and oh my god what is wrong with me?!

I'm pretty okay with it though.

And seriously, what is up with my thing for the over-40 set lately? Barack Obama (of course,) Rahm Emanuel, Tim Geithner and Peter Orszag too (and Orz just barely makes this list at age 40,) Joe Biden (though I do feel a little creepy about that, but he has such a nice smile!) Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert (but who doesn't have a crush on those two?) Keith Olberman, Brian Williams (I blame The Daily Show & Jon Stewart for that one,) etc. etc.
(There are some over-40 ladies I'd go for too, but that's another list. One that includes Michelle Obama. Hi, I have clearly become a total perv.)

Is it hormones? Realizing that I'm hitting my late 20's, and am finally starting to feel like an actual adult? Who the fuck knows.

On a related note, I really wish Joel McHale had a show that wasn't The Soup and wasn't on E!

I think this post can be summed up by saying damn, I've been single for far too long.

I really need to stop failing at life.

Ahem.

I have recently rediscovered good ol' Kraft Macaroni & Cheese. I'd been a fan (off and on) of Easy Mac, but it really isn't as good as the traditional blue box. Possibly this is due to the lack of milk and margarine in it.

I'd rediscovered Velveeta Shells and Cheese for a while, but it just doesn't compare to the bright orange deliciousness that is Mac & Cheese. (Or "Kraft Dinner," if you're Canadian.)

And it's delightfully cheap. Which might be my favorite thing about it.

Who else is loving The Riches this season? Because I am.

I am done with awards shows. Finished. Over. Finito.

This started with the 2005 Grammy Awards (was it '05? The year that Green Day didn't win Album of the Year for American Idiot. Ray Charles won - not because he had the better album [most critics agreed that he didn't,] but because he had DIED. Not to sound disrespectful, but dead people don't care if they get awards or not! But I digress.)

This year's Grammy noms pretty much finished award shows for me. (This year's all-over-the-place Golden Globe nods didn't help, either.)

No longer will I pay any attention to what some random group of people try to tell me what is and isn't worthwhile.

...Now that I think about it, that's good advice for life in general.

Melancholy is kind of a gray-blue color, I think. Like the sky on an overcast day. With just a touch of fog.
But sometimes the sun peeks through.

I've been working my way through my Sports Night DVD's again. (Does one underline or italicize the titles of TV shows? I can never remember.) I miss that show so much.

I also miss Studio 60. I've ordered the complete series on DVD as a Christmas present for myself.

You know what's nice? Realizing that some people will always be there for you, regardless of how much you talk or how often you see each other. Sometimes you just connect with certain people.
